First mow pics

Post by dag1450 »

Hey guys. Just thinking about something so I thought I would throw it out there in the coffee shop. Some of us post a lot... some a little, other never and just read and that's great. I thought it would be fun to put a picture with a name or avatar..lol. Snap a picture of you with your cub on or around your first mow of the season. This might be a little late for southern guys. It could be fun to see the difference in the timing to. I will probably mow next weekend. Me and my son got the 1872 ready yesterday with oil and lube. Trying to teach him basic equipment service.
I'm not very friendly to look at...but I will post my pics next week. Big Mike.... don't say a word!

I've rolled the mole trails down here in upstate NY. Maybe I'll have the wife roll it again so I can get a picture of her on the 782... She's a lot easier on the eyes than I am!

Umm I'm not sure that will work Dave...lol. Under normal circumstances yes your idea sounds great about the wife. My only thought now is that every time you post we will think of you as some sort of mangirl from the back hill country of NY.
How about a pic with both of you...that way we can look at whoever we want.lol. No...you do what you want. I'm just messing with ya.

First time this year with the 1872. I probably should have had gloves on to. I suffered through but my hands were like ice when I finished.
And yes Mike....Tom can even attest..I have a thick lustrous head of hair under that cap

Have shifted the Cubs from Winter mode to more favorable climate use though.
With Wife home because school is closed she is spending a lot of time out in the yard with a rake and it shows.I have graded the driveway twice since the last snow and it's about where I like to see that too.

It's a bit chilly for those anyway! Maybe by June... I have to drag some small trees with my 782 in a week or 2, I'll have my grandson on the tractor for pictures. I may teach him to drive it.

I mowed this week, not the whole yard just a patchwork. Today we had snow, same system as Ken.... crazzy! We may have lost part of the garden, just lettuce was in the ground, I’ll look tomorrow.

No one was home to take pics while I mowed today, but I had a helper cleaning some brush and stuff this week. I tried to teach him to drive, he did great until we unhooked the trailer. I said not to touch anything... So he backed onto my leg!!!! I'll live.

I have mowed every week all summer. Now it's like April or May grass and I really should be mowing every 6 days. I think this is the third year in a row like this. Crazy

Drought here, I haven’t mowed in weeks. The weeds are starting to get tall, I may try to cut them back this weekend. I did miss my July sickle bar mowing as well, that needs it for sure!
