Hi. I have a cub Cadet AGS 2130 that Shuts Off when I Engage the PTO.
I have bypassed the brake switch and the seat switch and the engine starts and runs fine. It drives fine in forward and reverse. However, when I engage the PTO the engine cuts off. Is there a switch for the PTO somewhere that may be faulty? Or does it matter that I used a zip-tie and tape to keep the brake switch pressed at all times. Or that I have connected the two wires that go to the seat switch? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Ron

Re: CC AGS2130 PTO ISSUE
Sorry Ron....I don't even know where to begin on this. Sounds like you need to start reinstalling some of the safety switches one at a time. Most times they are a good thing and work properly. It's when people do all kinds of rework that gets people into trouble like you are in now. If a switch fails to work....you can buy a replacement switch and install without too much headache. Let us know what you find.
