Re: Cubette
Geezer was one of the nicest and most knowledgeable cub cadet people I've ever known. He was a tough old bird and remember him sleeping in that old tent in November at Ohio plow days. The good old days.
Mike you still ragging On QL's .
I see a lot of cub cadets while going down the tracks , its a shame I can't pull over and ask about them .

Re: Cubette
Good to have you with us Jess, thanks.
Geezer had three O's Edith, Alice, and Ted.
Image posted by permission from N. Many thanks to you.
We believe the machine shown here is Ted. Note the steering wheel spinner and Schaffer beer shifter, and center mounted amp gauge. I'm pretty confident that there are folks here who remember this one. Have been told this one is now in a collection, that said this particular image has been around long before that, posted someplace on the old Registry site if it even exists any more.
If memory serves me I believe that the rear P.T.O. on Ted was actually non functional and simply bolted in place however I may well be wrong about that. The P.T.O. shown on the machine with the three left drive tires did in fact actually work as it should.

Yes, Hello Jess!
Ken, I kept looking at the "shifter" thinking, How is that black knob a Schaffer Beer thing? Took me few minutes to notice the creeper!

Re: Cubette
Dag , I still have the golf cart , grandkids have wore it out....lol. I plan on spending more time on here in the future . About the only time I spend on my cubs anymore is when I move dirt or gravel with the 782 loader or if I'm putting in a vegetable garden.

Re: Cubette
Jess that is a great idea for the grandkids! Something exciting for them to look forward to when they come over. I'm gonna have to keep that idea in my back pocket. Last year we sold an early 2000s Yamaha at work. They got it for someone to drive around the plant at work. It was battery powered. If I get one...it will be a gas motor. The batteries required way more attention than I thought it would. What would happen it would run down...then get below the smart charger voltage...then it was Dave's job to mess around getting it back up and charging. So annoying! Lp would be a good option....for inside use. Probably not for our situation. The battery was whisper quiet.
