Ok,

I have added the Full Name to the memberlist... which has been there for a bit so some of u may have noticed.
I didnt annouce it right away cause i had a small error when clicking on a "group" But i took care of that. The columns dont line up on the group page for some reason but thats minor cosmetics.
The full name column is sortable either assending ABC or desending ZYX HOWEVER ..... heres the kicker
IT orders the names A-Z then a-z So The people out there that forgot 2nd grade grammer (proper names get capitalized)..... you know who u are, are at the bottom of the list.
Also this is not yet searchable.... comming soon.
Next i did add the City, State to the search parameters on the search page.
I still have a minor glitch because for some ungodly reason this field is case sensitive
IE: is you search for *PA you will not find someone that entered pa
If u didnt see the notes on the page the * is a wildcard and can be entered anywhere

so searching Middletown* will find me and a few others

Whats comming soon:

Full name to search ** added DAC 3/10/11 DAC**
wildcards not needed in search
search not case sensitive ** fixed DAC 3/10/11 DAC**
Repair column width on "group" page

Ok i have added the first and last name fields to the memberlist search.... but im having the same issue as with the city state thing its only exact matches! Apparently it must have something to do with our SQL server cause not everyone is having this issue...... im taking home the PHP file and am going to read it line by line! theres something missing in there..... somewhere

ok well its not a secret anymore! i have added the gallery mod... this thing is HUGE! theres a buttload of permissions and settings and and so whoknows whats setup wrong or right or what.... but u should see a "gallery" link up in the nbavbar next to the faq etc. and i have setup a base gallery... from here on out we can prob do one for each plowday or whatever.... i dunno
once your on the page u should have an "upload images" link toward the top left.
OK SCOTT i bet your gonna start playing round! lol this thing is cool! btw i beleive most of the settings are under the .MODS tab in the ACP

BTW to all users you can use custom BBcode to link to an album in a post!
i might have to add a FAQ cause this thing is huge!

ALSO this mod not only has a public gallery section but each user can manage a private gallery within each users profile.
simply go to the UCP and click on the "gallery" tab!

Hey folks...
due to some strange glitch over in the "manuals" site geezers dealer decal pages were messed up.... not sure why at the moment.... not sure i wanna dive into that software at the moment... seems it has several issues anyhow...
make a long story short i have moved the decals over to the forums photo gallery.
Simply click on
Cub Photo Gallery in the headerbar and the top photo gallery is geezers decal page.
he is the only one to post pictures here.... continue to post new ones in his decal topic and he does the rest.

You will also notice that i have installed a slideshow plugin called "Highslide" which is figgin cool!
check it out!

I have increased the number of topics per page that you can see in any forum section. Hopefully this will make it easier to keep tabs on some of the more active topics.

Hi folks,

Just wanted to let everyone know as all this software is Open-Source and free to use change or modify we felt it was appropriate to make a $28 (20 euros) donation on behalf of the registry and http://www.cubcadetcollectors.com to Joas Schilling aka nickvergessen of http://www.phpbb.com and http://www.flying-bits.org/go/phpbb_gallery/features from somewhere in Germany!
For his hard work with the php Photo Gallery that we use here on the site. I had checked with the other moderators and they gave me the go ahead to make whatever donations i felt appropriate.
Just FYI we have aproximately 10 Mods installed some being rather small and others like the gallery and the chat being rather large.
The Gallery consists of something in the nature of 300 files and 20 someodd file edits to existing files and a large host of database entries. Im sure he had plenty of sleepless nights writing the software.
I just installed the latest edition 1.0.6 which was released a few months ago... i beleive its the final release.
( I was getting tired of seeing the "gallery is out of date" warning.... ) it annoyed me!

I'm excited!
I have Adobe Acrobat 10 and am converting all the stuff in the Gallery to .pdf files.
Thanks to Dave, we now have a section of the site that will be a lot more user friendly for browsing the manuals and brochures. Not to mention easier to print.
I'm getting files uploaded and we will be live with it soon!!
I will be using all the stuff you folks generously uploaded to fill in the gaps, thanks everyone!
In the end, we'll drop the old Gallery with the .jpg files and have the new section look just like this forum.
Dave is the man for all the site mods he's been collecting, testing, reading endless pages of instruction and bug fix's.
THANKS DUDE

For the registry and other lost items from the big crash of ihregistry.com, there is quite a bit that could be pulled from the Internet Archive at http://wayback.archive.org/web/*/ihregistry.com There are a total of 98 archivals of the site there, and different pages may have been archived each time. I looked at parts of the registry on one of the 2005 archives, and there are probably others...

Just an FYI!

Well scott said it well! there ya go guys.... its up and running..... after SEVERAL sleepless nights for me and scott both!

Obviously its a work in progress and as we get more material it will be uploaded as we go.... also still missing some thumbs etc.

We hope everyone likes it better!

ALSO when u click a download it should open a window and ask if you wanna open the file in the browser or download to your computer.... some browsers (google chrome) come up default to just download without asking.... this is a setting in the browser
Nothing to do with the website!

Any problems please post questions in the shooting the breeze or coffeeshop

Thanks

Dave, you to Scott, thank you for your hard work, the manuals section looks good, and is easy to use. Now if only people will take the time to use what you have provided to help find answers to some of their questions, rather than just asking questions and hoping some one will do the research and tell them what they want to know..........but we know that's not going to happen, so someone will keep providing answers 'cause that's what we try to do.......

I need a tutorial on uploading a file. Can I upload a file that is 56MB? I tried the 782D service manual and it didn't seem to work.

James,
You can email the file to me or Dave, if you can, zip it up.

Or, break it down into two files and upload it here:
viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1728

FTP is secure to our site and access's files I don't even mess with so we don't give access.

Thanks guys for trusting me to help. I trusted Tony once too, LOL. The one thing I most like about this site is the fact is we watch our selves and the amount of help that has been given here, and the last site. Ill do my best to help, but I still cant find the spell check!

Thank You!

Vince,
Now on to bigger and better things.
I know you will be a big help, you are always eager to learn from others on here and are not afraid to ask any ?'s that comes to your mind. You always go out of your way to help any member, with a problem with their cubs.Even our boy DICKERSON!!
You are the only guy I know that can have his shoes cooked over a fire and still laugh about it.

I liked it when you sent the flat rate box.
