The Official Weather Thread!
Well folks, the mower is off, the oil and filter is changed on the 682/GX610, the chains are on and the thrower will be on by Monday.
We all probably had a bit of snow for Thanksgiving and a hint of things to come.
First chance of measurable snow is Saturday Dec 5 for eastern Pa and NJ.
SO LUBE THE THROWER FOLKS!

I'm 15 miles south of Allentown,PA and we had a good inch of snow when we left for the inlaws on Thanksgiving. It was snowing all the way down to Vernfield.

Looks like the one on 12-5 might fizzle.
But on some previous years we have had snow on the 5th. It seems to be a good snow date.
2002
2003 we had a storm on the 6th
2005 dusting
2009

2" rain over night, but the rain gauge gets taken in tonight and the snow gauge gets put out.
- IT GETS COLD THIS WEEKEND AND BEYOND
- THERE WILL BE A CLIPPER SATURDAY THAT WILL PUT DOWN A SURPRISE 2" SNOWFALL SOUTH OF THE MASON DIXON LINE.. BLUE RIDGE MTNS WILL GET INTO THAT.. EVEN DEEP CREEK
- THERE WILL BE A STORM OFF THE COAST NEXT WEEK.. TRACK IS STILL UNCERTAIN!
Is your thrower ready?

In central pa we got an inch of snow with more possibly coming overnight. Got the plow put on my tractor and tried to start it, but dead battery and it would not charge completely . hope to have it fixed before more snow comes and i need. I will try to get pics if i can.

Getting socked here tonight in WNY. No where near as bad as Buffalo's 2-3 feet but we should have a foot or more by tomorrow so they say, and the weekend is looking to be a bear as well. Black ice and drifting here, winds 15-25MPH keeping the N-S highways bad.

Re: The Official Weather Thread!
It's been doin it's thing here since about 1:00 this afternoon. When I came home from work we had enough to only cover the grass, wasn't even laying on the roads. Just went out at 6:30 to the auto parts cause I needed a light bulb for the 107 and there is now as I type this about 6 inches on the ground and the roads and they are getting pretty slick allready! I have the black sheep of the crew here for the winter to do the plowing at my house. I know it ain't RED but it is a dream plowing with it compared to the 100.
Cub's of the farm currently: 4-Originals, 2-70's, 100, 122, 123, 124, 73, 106, 107, 126, 800, 782IH built, 982IHbuilt, 782D, 1572. Farmall Cub and Cub Lo-Boy and too many attatchments to think about.
