Hello all,
Back in 2011 I purchased a Cub Cadet 1450 from my cousin, and have been working on it ever since (and adding to my collection of implements too). In the nine years since then (hard to believe it's been that long already), I have completely rebuilt the engine, steering, and several other parts, as well as working on restoring my 1947 & 48 Farmall Cubs. Throughout this time, I have found this forum and the associated manuals section to be an invaluable resource. I'll post more details on my projects in other threads later, but for now I just wanted to say hello and thank you for being here!

Hey...Welcome Ben! Very nice action pics. That looks like a heavy duty industrial spreader. My father has a small walk behind cyclone spreader from the 70s. Glad you joined!

Thanks, the Cyclone is one of my favorite implements. Unfortunately, the hopper has some rust holes and the plastic drive gears are getting stripped, but it's still useful for spreading grass seed every once in a while. It was originally owned by my grandfather, who bought it in the 70's to use with his nursery business. According to the 1976 price list on the manuals section, this Cyclone 99-A would have cost about $135.10 back then. Grandpa also used a Cub Cadet 123 with a tiller on his farm & nursery business...wish I still had that as well!

Well, it certainly feels like March right now (or November?), but at least the grass is green. We managed to avoid all of the snow today, even got up to 55° for a while.

These tractors become so much more once you start gathering a collection of attachments.
